Standard vs Heavy Duty MicCaddy™ - Besides the Price, What's the Diff?

Without holding one in your hand and feeling the weight difference, it's impossible to tell what differentiates the standard MicCaddy™ from the Heavy Duty MicCaddy™. However, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in this case, that's true.

Although both types are made out of the same tough carbon fiber-infused PETG filament, our Heavy Duty MicCaddy™ has thicker walls and more infill for maximum toughness. In most performance situations our standard model will be more than adequate, but if you tour often or setup/teardown frequently, the Heavy Duty model will stand up to more abuse.

Our standard MicCaddy™ has 2 walls and 5% gyroid infill. The wall thickness is approximately 1.2mm+/- and each front-mounted model takes about 95 grams of filament and 3 hours to produce.

Our Heavy Duty model has 3 walls and 15% gyroid infill. That equates to a wall thickness of 1.7mm+/- and approximately 155 grams of filament and takes over 5 hours to produce.

The choice is yours depending on the environment you'll be using them in. If you have more questions, just contact us and we'll be happy to provide you with answers.
